High School

High school can be a total disaster or a beautiful nightmare, but let me tell yo, not one person i know likes high school. I am currently in my 3rd year of high school meaning i am in grade 11.

Grade 11 has been quite a stressful year because looking back, you don't really know what you want to do in the future and you don't care about your marks "really" (or at least for me) in grades 9 and 10, but once you're in grade 11 it hits you like a pile of bricks. As soon as you pick your courses you have to decide if your taking the proper courses in order to get into a good university or college, or even if you don't want to continue school, you still need to know what you want to be in order to push yourself in that direction.

Lastly once you're in your final months of grade 11,a pile of bricks hit you once again because you face reality and take in that you'll be graduating in a year... only one more year which means one more year before you have to grow up.

Growing up is never easy, especially when you have no clue of what you want to do after high school, what you want to be and really you have to re discover who you really are. I can tell you from my personal thoughts, i am dead straight scared to graduate, all those friends and people that you've became close with are all going to spread in a blink of an eye away from you. They'll go to different schools, they'll have ideas of  different careers and different people will be coming into their lives and yours.

The unknown is what scares me, i don't know where I'll be in 5 years, let alone 2 years but i do know is that i will continue to blog and share what the hell I'll be doing ;)

Anyways that is my exclusive thoughts of high school :)
hope you could relate to it or if you don't, then leave a comment below !

Update

hey, so I know I haven't blogged in a while but I've actually been quite busy with myself and school. I've been depressed for 5 1/2 years now and I've had high anxiety also OCD for 7years, so I've haven't really been doing so well these past few weeks, I've began taking Cipralex( an anti-depressant), and I've started going to counselling. it's going to be a difficult and long journey for me, but I'm tired of feeling negative and depressed, I'm ready for a good change. so I apologize if I haven't posted anything in a while, I haven't really ought anything big enough to do a haul post but I will update you guys on outfits and make up if I can !

on the GOOD side, I bought the new iPad mini in black today so I'm hoping to blog more often when I can !

Thanks for reading this.

Mini Shopping Haul

SATURDAY & SUNDAY MINI SHOPPING HAUL

So i know i said i would upload either Sunday night or Monday at the latest.... and today is Tuesday (awkward!) Anyways, here it is, the mini shopping haul that i did over this past weekend.

1. Urban Decay's Naked Basics: so in my last post i said i had received the Naked flushed platte, well i fell in love with "naked", so im hooked. I bought the basics, because i'm a basic bitch :( LOL, not for that reason but i actually have heard great things about it so I've decided to try it ! So far i am loving it, so pigmented and smooth. Also it is smaller than the flushed platte which makes travelling so easy ! EASY-PEASY LEMON SQUEEZY !

2. Also from Urban Decay, i bought the De-Slick setting spray. Now i have tried this before in the small travel bottle, and i loved it also it lasted quite long so i decided to bite the 35$ bullet and buy it. I found it quite a lot of money for just setting spray, yet you pay for the quality and damn it is pretty fine quality  If you get n oily face, and runny makeup during the day like myself, i would defiantly recommend the De-slick setting spray ! All you do is spray about 4 times in an X formation and ta-da ! your face will stay matte looking all day !

3. I also went to American Eagle where i bought 2 shirts, a loose, ARMY GREEN (could upload a pic of the one i actually bought)  cut sleeved shirt, with a little peek-a-boo hole on the back. I LOVE THIS SHIRT, so comfy  loose and light, going to be prefect on those hot summer nights coming up! I also bought a tank top that more looks like a muscle top with smaller sleeves on the top (no collar). it has a sunset background with the word ALOHA in a white faint print. I love the fit and style, also i'm going to Hawaii in August (SO EXCITED) so this shirt is perfect... now note the faint print on it ;)

4. i went to LUSH... of course, and bought 3 items, the first was the "you've been mango-ed" bath melt, which is so nice and makes your bath smell good and your skin super soft (you don't even need to use a lot), next is the "space girl" bath bomb which makes your bath purple/black which smells like blackberries and makes your bath look pretty sweet. Lastly i bought the "magic mushroom" bubble bar, which i wasn't very happy with :( i hardly had any bubbles,  and the bubbles i did have didn't even last more than 20 mins :( on result i would recommend the mango bath melt and the space girl bath bomb, but i wouldn't recommend the magic mushroom bubble bar.

5. I went to Zumiez which is pretty much a west 49 store like, in which i bought 2 obey sweaters, one is a zip up and the other is a pullover, the first one (which is the 5th picture below) is the pullover, and the colour is red ! i'm obsessed with skulls, so this sweater is perfect for me. the next one is the zip-up and it looks the same in the picture, super comfy and light.

6. Last but not least, i went to Forever 21 and bought this SUPER CUTE dress for only 25$. I wanted to buy a couple of dresses before summer early this year, and so far this dress has got me more excited for summer. it is a high-low dress with spaghetti straps and a loose & light feel to it. I would HIGHLY recommend girls with bigger boobs this dress because you can adjust the straps and with a good bra, you can either show as much cleavage as you want, which is perfect. But i think this dress would be perfect for anyone !

That's my mini shopping haul, and sorry for not posting this when i promised you :(
If you guys have any different opinions on the items i bought then comment below, ALSO if you have anything that you want me to try and evaluate then also comment below !

till next time ! -court xoxo

The problem with Leggings

It is brought to my attention from being a full time high school student that, many girls cannot properly wear leggings...... they're made to be covering your legs, cue to the name LEGgings. YET most girl (from my personal experience and thoughts) girls wear them as pants... THEY'RE NOT PANTS. i actually find it so trashy, like girl will literally wear a crop top, leggings that they've folded down then pulled up (making your ass more noticeable) then continue wearing either uggs or toms. can i say for the record that i live in Canada, and this winter has been quite cold (at least -5C everyday) and these girls are wearing leggings as pants, which were originally made for underneath pants or skirts or a thinker tight with cut-offs at the ankles.
NOW to properly wear leggings please read the following:

1. wear leggings underneath snow pants, or loose fitted pants to keep you warm
2. underneath a skirt
3. a long shirt that COVERS your butt, then instead of wearing textured pants, wear plain leggings
4. as pj's
5. as comfy clothes

these should be the only exceptions to wear leggings, and #'s 1,2 and 3 should be the only exceptions on wearing leggings outside of your house.

please girls, please.

I'm sorry if this sounded like a rant, just wanted to vent on how leggings should be properly worn.
