Spring Edition !

So it is finally spring ! i don't know about you guys but here in Canada it is finally hitting the warm marks !
When i think of spring i think of bright colours, pastels  nudes, dresses, and short hair.. for this post i've decided to show you guy my top 3 threes that are must haves for spring.

i absolutely love this hairstyle, it makes me think spring, ready-for-summer hair. The beachy waves, and the medium cut is perfect for the summer and spring when hair likes to go super flat and swimming with log hair makes you think that there is something touching you 24/7. 7
*I'm actually thinking of cutting my hair like this, now I'm a brunette and i have quite long hair now, crossing my fingers !*

A beautiful picture. now this reminds me of spring to the T. this picture was taken somewhere in Greece by a friend of mine during march break a couple of years ago. This reminds me of spring because its light out, all the beautiful, natural colours are beginning to bloom and shine on. The water screams "jump in" and that is what spring is preparing you for, to jump into summer fun !

Lastly is this beautiful unknown girl, i found this picture on tumblr and i reblogged it right away just because i love her style and this is what i always see in the spring. This cute dress is the perfect length for spring i think, its got rolled down sleeves and button up option, its perfect if it gets chilly on those random days (oh Canada !) or you can roll it up and show off what you got ;) Also her hair is gorgeous up like that, someone show me how to do that before i chop all of mine off :( !

Hope you all like my "spring edition" and hopefully you can leave me comments of your opinions or ideas ! until next post !

Update

hey, so I know I haven't blogged in a while but I've actually been quite busy with myself and school. I've been depressed for 5 1/2 years now and I've had high anxiety also OCD for 7years, so I've haven't really been doing so well these past few weeks, I've began taking Cipralex( an anti-depressant), and I've started going to counselling. it's going to be a difficult and long journey for me, but I'm tired of feeling negative and depressed, I'm ready for a good change. so I apologize if I haven't posted anything in a while, I haven't really ought anything big enough to do a haul post but I will update you guys on outfits and make up if I can !

on the GOOD side, I bought the new iPad mini in black today so I'm hoping to blog more often when I can !

Thanks for reading this.

My Everyday Makeup Routine !

hey everyone ! so I decided to start off with my very first makeup routine, for the products that I use I'll list below

- my MAC quad colours: (top left in the picture) Haux, (top right) Embark, (bottom left) Shroom and (bottom right) Malt
-urban decay, Naked, "Flushed" platte
-Rimmel, wake me up concealer
-Revlon, Nearly Naked foundation
- Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer
-eyelash curler
-cover girl, "Clump Crusher" mascara
-MAC brow finisher, clear
-Urban Decay Setting Spray, "De-Slick"

1- first I use my concealer on all my spots, then I proceed to put on my foundation all overly face and neck.

2-I then used the bronzed in my Naked, Flushed platte, then I use a tad of blush (it's really strong) on the apples of my cheek and lastly I use the highlighter on my "sun-kissed" spots on my face.

3-I now shade in my eyebrows with MAC Embark shadow, and I just follow my natural brow line.

4-I then use a speck of primer on both my eyelids, then I proceed to use MAC Haux all over my kid, for my crease colour I use MAC Embark, lastly I use MAC Malt as my highlighter.

5- I now curl my eyelashes, and proceed to put on my mascara

6- I then use my eyebrow finisher (wax material) and put that on my brows, following my brow line

7-Finally I spray my face with the setting spray around 8cm from my face, 6 times in an "X" formation

And we are done ! that is my daily routine, I love this because its very natural, yet defining all my key points on my face

hope you guys enjoyed this post, comment if you"d like to see more !

Mini Shopping Haul

SATURDAY & SUNDAY MINI SHOPPING HAUL

So i know i said i would upload either Sunday night or Monday at the latest.... and today is Tuesday (awkward!) Anyways, here it is, the mini shopping haul that i did over this past weekend.

1. Urban Decay's Naked Basics: so in my last post i said i had received the Naked flushed platte, well i fell in love with "naked", so im hooked. I bought the basics, because i'm a basic bitch :( LOL, not for that reason but i actually have heard great things about it so I've decided to try it ! So far i am loving it, so pigmented and smooth. Also it is smaller than the flushed platte which makes travelling so easy ! EASY-PEASY LEMON SQUEEZY !

2. Also from Urban Decay, i bought the De-Slick setting spray. Now i have tried this before in the small travel bottle, and i loved it also it lasted quite long so i decided to bite the 35$ bullet and buy it. I found it quite a lot of money for just setting spray, yet you pay for the quality and damn it is pretty fine quality  If you get n oily face, and runny makeup during the day like myself, i would defiantly recommend the De-slick setting spray ! All you do is spray about 4 times in an X formation and ta-da ! your face will stay matte looking all day !

3. I also went to American Eagle where i bought 2 shirts, a loose, ARMY GREEN (could upload a pic of the one i actually bought)  cut sleeved shirt, with a little peek-a-boo hole on the back. I LOVE THIS SHIRT, so comfy  loose and light, going to be prefect on those hot summer nights coming up! I also bought a tank top that more looks like a muscle top with smaller sleeves on the top (no collar). it has a sunset background with the word ALOHA in a white faint print. I love the fit and style, also i'm going to Hawaii in August (SO EXCITED) so this shirt is perfect... now note the faint print on it ;)

4. i went to LUSH... of course, and bought 3 items, the first was the "you've been mango-ed" bath melt, which is so nice and makes your bath smell good and your skin super soft (you don't even need to use a lot), next is the "space girl" bath bomb which makes your bath purple/black which smells like blackberries and makes your bath look pretty sweet. Lastly i bought the "magic mushroom" bubble bar, which i wasn't very happy with :( i hardly had any bubbles,  and the bubbles i did have didn't even last more than 20 mins :( on result i would recommend the mango bath melt and the space girl bath bomb, but i wouldn't recommend the magic mushroom bubble bar.

5. I went to Zumiez which is pretty much a west 49 store like, in which i bought 2 obey sweaters, one is a zip up and the other is a pullover, the first one (which is the 5th picture below) is the pullover, and the colour is red ! i'm obsessed with skulls, so this sweater is perfect for me. the next one is the zip-up and it looks the same in the picture, super comfy and light.

6. Last but not least, i went to Forever 21 and bought this SUPER CUTE dress for only 25$. I wanted to buy a couple of dresses before summer early this year, and so far this dress has got me more excited for summer. it is a high-low dress with spaghetti straps and a loose & light feel to it. I would HIGHLY recommend girls with bigger boobs this dress because you can adjust the straps and with a good bra, you can either show as much cleavage as you want, which is perfect. But i think this dress would be perfect for anyone !

That's my mini shopping haul, and sorry for not posting this when i promised you :(
If you guys have any different opinions on the items i bought then comment below, ALSO if you have anything that you want me to try and evaluate then also comment below !

till next time ! -court xoxo

Birthday/ Makeup Reviews !

Birthday. Makeup Reviews !

Happy Birthday to me ! my 17th birthday was yesterday and i had quite a swell time :) unfortunately i had to go to school and work :( but no drama or accidents, so overall it was a chill birthday but that's what i wanted and like.
I wanted to share with you guys on my past purchases since i have not been on in so long ! I just recently bought the Rimmel, "Wake me up" concealer and the Covergirl "clump crusher" mascara.

Rimmel: The concealer has been doing a pretty good job, it is quite sheer, so if i have a lot of redness, it doesn't really help. I do like how it has some energy or caffeine product in it to "wake you up" i think it is a brilliant idea doe makeup.
Covergirl: The mascara has been AMAZING,  i absolutely love it, no clumps what so ever and it give you nice full, long lashes which i adore. What i really like about it, is that if you put less on, it will look so natural  but once you lay it on, it makes your lashes look full and voluptuous. i strongly recommend it if you are thinking on trying it or even if you are looking for a new favourite mascara.

For my birthday, i received mostly money, but i got the brand new naked "Flushed" Platte by Urban Decay, which includes a bronzer, blush and highlighter. I used it last night for my birthday dinner and today, and it's quite pigmented and no so sparkly which i prefer  I really like it because it is small and portable and since its 3-in-1 product, it makes travelling and my makeup-to-go bag light and easy to bring around.

I'm going to be shopping on Saturday which some of the money i received so get ready for a blog on what i purchased around Saturday night or Sunday night.
